My Grandmother, Rev. Dr. Margrie L. Simmons, was a powerhouse of a being, excelling at anything she focused on. One of he greatest areas of focus was creating inthe kitchen.
On Sunday mornings before church, she would make blueberry muffins to make sure my family and friends all had something in our stomachs before embarking on a long church day.
The majorityy of us have a loved one that passed that we share keen memories with. For me, it was Grandma's muffins. For you, it may be another dish or fond memory. This song is for all of us. I hope it brings you joy + healing.
